Welcome, my motley crew of intruders! Another great weekend is upon us, just eight hours from work. We can handle a deluge of emails, phone calls, interruptions, stark, endless meetings where, if you listen closely, you can hear your soul groaning, slowly dying in the prison you asked for, you fucking asked for, and you can handle it all, but not if Doug from accounting is there, because Doug is an asshole, and he always burps like we don’t know, how can we not know? Did you smell your breath, Doug? But it doesn’t matter. It’s all right, it’s all right. Because Gentleman wants to tell you about a new DC delivery service called Potluck Solutions, and I know how excited my little munchkins are! Potluck Solutions cleverly leveraged the dynamic power of Initiative 71 to promote their iconic rap artist POTT (Product of the Trap) with cannabis giveaways. But POTT doesn’t just talk about our favorite flower, he personally grows ganja. Synergy, baby! They bought his album The New Strain at Potluck. I don’t pretend to know anything about rap – after Mobb Deep and WuTang I’m done with rap – but tracks like Hundred and Beneficial really touch me, and B.D.A.B. is reminiscent of the early Bone Thugs. If you like traps, you’ll definitely enjoy The New Strain.
Okay, okay, through all this potluck talk I’m ready for my review of Potluck Solutions Platinum Cookies! For my review, I received a part eight consisting of half a dozen popcorn nuts. The buds have a lovely fresh green color with orange hairs growing out, but a manicure wouldn’t hurt, as the stems and leaves are left with sugar. Despite the size of the bumps, there are a few small trichomes to be seen. The soft and creamy aroma profile is complete and attractive. I put the ground flour in a pre-rolled cone and lit it. The smoke is thick and voluminous, filling my lungs quickly, and I cough steadily halfway to Jay. Platinum cookies have a high potency. The strong bank effect quickly precedes the strong bed effect. It’s been a long time since I’ve had flowers that put me to sleep so quickly. I prefer indica to a predominant sativa for sleep – the rock in my body makes my night (or sleep) more restful. It’s both good if you’re sitting watching a commercial at four in the morning and wondering when you’ll collapse and start Fight Club, or if you’ve already done that but your split personality doesn’t think you’re cool enough to be a space monkey and you just think you’re watching TV while Tyler gets the light and probably uses it to fuck Helena Bonham-Carter.
