Medical marijuana can ease pain and control seizures for many patients. Ohio recently expanded its list of conditions which qualify for medical marijuana to include more patients, but the list is still not complete.
The Ohio Board of Pharmacy announced on July 17th that it had added three new conditions to the state’s list of qualifying conditions for medical marijuana treatment. These conditions are: Chronic pain, Severe and persistent muscle spasms, and Nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy or other prescribed medications. There are currently 29 conditions for which individuals in Ohio can receive marijuana treatment for.
