The Gentleman had the opportunity to try the first medical marijuana crop in Maryland this weekend and was very impressed with Curio Wellness’ Guice (obtained from RISE Bethesda), so I thought I’d share some thoughts. Like, wow. Capped with trichomes, perfectly aged and well washed, the Guice was a really clean smoke with a peppery finish. The buttons are a little loose, but I’m sure they’ll be tighter in the future. RISE Bethesda is one of the dispensaries offering low prices for the first harvest: $55 for an eighth or $110 for a quarter. This strain is a cross between GG (Gorilla Glue) #4 and Orange Valley OG, and this batch tested with a THC content of 20.6%. The most important terpenes are myrcene with 19.3 mg, cariophyllene with 20.7 mg and terpinols with 48 mg. Which brings me to my next point: the RISE label contains beautiful details with a full terpene profile. I know it also contains 3.9 mg alpha-pinene, 5.6 mg beta-pinene, 6 mg limonene and 8.1 mg humulene. WOW. That’s what I mean! No arbitrary assumptions on your part, no sir, that’s exactly what the Curio Wellness Guice is supposed to say (it’s common knowledge in the industry that test results can vary depending on the subject and test method).
The intoxication was light and inclined to giggle, just like Haze, but your Gentleman was also a bit nervous, as strong sativas usually are. Everyone else scoffs at the suggestion of building the worst possible small library to get it approved, but they keep coming up with ideas that don’t fit the plan because they never get approved and I can’t get to the party.
