A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to try out a few new greens as I was trying to stock up on greens for my family. I was looking for something that was a good value and something that I could feel good about eating. I was also looking for something that I could use as a filler for a vegetable dish or use in my salad. As I was thumbing through the refrigerated section of my local grocery store I thought that kale, spinach, and lettuce would be the best choices of what we could add to our salads and I would buy those.
I’ve been seeing a lot of hype about greens lately and the scene has been popping up all over the internet. So when I came across an interesting blog post titled “How to Make Greens Taste Good” I knew I had to try them myself. I gathered a bunch of greens together and went to work.
